Just now, I caught my little long haired chihuahua dog, Chu Chu, looking at himself in the mirror. he was just sitting there, staring… If you haven’t looked at my albums on my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/christineleakeymusic then you should to see my little guy. He was abandoned and found wandering in a grocery store parking lot. I’ve nursed him back to health and now he’s a happy dapper! ♥ He’s also a bit of a kissing bandit to me and my big dog (a wheaten terrier), Molly Bijou.
With that said… I’ll share this little discovery I made last night which really touched me. Such a sweet tune and video and produced by Leonard Cohen, one of my dream collaborators! This deeply touched me though because I have always written and sang tunes to my dogs my whole life… Since I was three which is the earliest I can remember doing this. I would go into our basement and sing to our dog in woe at her not being allowed to come upstairs. It tore my heart out. And whenever I was punished, instead of going to my room to cry, I would go to the basement to sing to her.
It’s great to see others also giving that special love to them because dogs love it when people sing to them.. all creatures enjoy it, I believe. I will tell you more about all that later. :) For now, enjoy, NEeMA - Elsa’s Lullaby!
